The Mercy Movement is a student-ran organization that aims to raise money for charities in the Midwest. We understand that the holidays are an especially difficult time for many families. Our goal is to ensure that the less fortunate have greater access to daily necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter. The leaders of the Mercy Movement are Alissa Elanjian and Joseph Valascho. Alissa will earn her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan School of Nursing, then attend graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Joseph is a finance major at Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business, pursuing his bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Finance.
